Dish Network Rejects Gay Non Discrimination Policy

The shareholders at Dish Network evidently don’t give a damn about the gays. They have decided that gays and lesbians should not be covered in their company’s anti-discrimination clause.
At the company’s annual meeting, the New York City Employees Retirement System which holds 533,032 shares proposed a resolution to add a clause in the company’s equal-opportunity policy that would prohibit discrimination against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees.
