Dianne Feinstein Speaks OUT Against Propostion 8

Dianne Feinstein, the Democratic Senator from California, has come out against Proposition 8, the november ballot measure that would place a constitutional ban against same-sex marriage, once again denying gays and lesbians from marrying in the state.
In a statement made Friday afternoon, Feinstein said this is an issue of “equality and fairness.”
“As a state, I believe we should uphold the ability of our friends, neighbors and co-workers who are gay and lesbian to enter into the contract of marriage.”
