October 14, 2008 by James Hipps
A Massachusetts man has been accused of taunting and fighting with a lesbian couple at a Connecticut restaurant. The police involved in the incident have said the man brought up last week’s Connecticut Supreme Court ruling allowing gay marriages during the confrontation.
Twenty-six-year-old Daniel Dabrowski of Boston was charged with intimidation based on bigotry or bias and breach of peace after the confrontation which took place in Fairfield last Saturday. Dabrowski has posted bail and is due in state court on Monday, October 17th.
Fairfield police say Dabrowski shoved a woman by her face and ripped a necklace off of her partner’s neck.
Dabrowski has denied pushing anyone or pulling off the necklace.
