Florida Steps Closer to Banning Gay Marriage

Florida voters look close to passing a gay-marriage ban, according to a new statewide poll concerning the state’s proposed constitutional amendments.
According to Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, voters have clear opinions about Amendment 2, so the ”Florida Marriage Protection Amendment” garners wide support — 55 percent in support; 34 percent opposed.
