Those Right Wing Nuts are Getting to be Really Stale

Now even a mom, who obviously was too busy having children to pursue an education, has a blog bashing Obama and anyone who stands up for equality, freedom, separation of chuch and state, or any of those things that this country was founded upon.  It just gets plain silly.  I found this on a blog called Mommy Life.  Read it, but you better keep a bucket close by…you may want to throw up as sometimes watching others hurl gives you the impulse to do the same.  All she does is puke up rhetoric.  I have a feeling if it was the 50’s or 60’s, she would have something to say about how people of color are ruining our nation.  Do these people really think they are the saviors of the country?  This is why it can be so embarrassing to be an American, because those in foreign lands think this is what we’re like.  No wonder the world thinks Americans are pompous, arrogant and unintelligent, not to mention hypocritical!

I’ve run into individuals who claim to want to dialogue when what they really want is to “persuade” (or browbeat) you into giving up your core beliefs to accept theirs. Dialogue does involve listening and keeping an open mind and does sometimes end with politely agreeing to disagree. Those who find this difficult need to really ask themselves if they are interested in dialogue or verbal combat.

I sent this lady an email asking exactly what her level of education was…just for kicks. Her reply:

I have a BA magna cum laude from San Francisco State University in philosophy – also a year of training for my Association Montessori Internationale teacher certification.

I also am a former lesbian and have spent time living in the Castro District with gay men.

Ex-Lesbian?  Either someone had a sex change or I believe that is called schizophrenia.
