I tangled with LaBarbarian in the late 1990s when he was “monitoring” a gay newsgroup, cross posting onto a theocRATS email list. He was outraged that I was doing the same thing – monitoring the theocRATS email list and cross posting to the gay newsgroup. I know LaBarbera’s claim, but find his “fascination” with the gay community, i.e. attending pride events, going to bath houses etc, to be anything other than “gay”. Perhaps I didn’t word this correctly, but what I’m trying to say is this man, is a big ole’ homo, and he is preying upon those who want to be”ex-gay”. What I was trying to put across, someone who has never been a drug addict, can’t very well be an effective drug addiction counselor. Does that make sense?

I wish the truth were that simple… but Peter LaBarbera does not claim to be ex-gay.

If you have statements by him to the contrary, please provide them, as Truth Wins Out opposes LaBarbera’s hate propaganda and would be eager to investigate and report this.
