Rockstar to Donate $100K+ to LGBT Orgs & Bloggers

Rockstar Energy Drink had threatened to sue LGBT bloggers who covered their connections to the CEO’s father, Michael Savage. The company – including Russ Weiner, CEO, and Janet Weiner, CFO (and Russ’s mother/Savage’s wife), is denouncing Savage’s hate-filled speech and pledging the company will be one of the most LGBT-friendly around now. They’re donating $100k+ to LGBT organizations and bloggers to make up for the lawsuit threats and to prove their commitment to LGBT rights.
