Anti-Gay Commercial Lies Start in Maine

Anti-Gay Commercial Lies Start in Maine

Well, here we go…the lies have started, and those who oppose marriage equality are playing to those who are…well, let’s just say, less educated.

The ‘real consequences’ and ‘flood of lawsuits’, just like in Iowa, or any other place that has ended discrimination, because we all know if you don’t discrimination must exist…if you stop discriminating against one group, it’s mandatory to discriminate against another…we CAN’T allow discrimination to stop…someone HAS to get it…after all, it’s the American way!

Beam me up Scotty- the stupidity level of homophobia has now gone into warp-drive . . .

    WTF is wrong with people?

What is wrong with them? Let’s break it down:

    1) 70% of them only have a high school degree or less education, which means they weren’t taught how to think
    2) 75% of them are religionists who believe that it is ok to have faith, that is believe in something that can’t be proven scientifcally, leading them to believe that it is good to have faith in something rather than proof of something, meaning they can be lazy thinkers and not question anything with zeal and rational, reasoned based thinking, which bleeds into everything they touch
    3) they rely on specious “studies” done by right wing religionists like the hate group Family Research Institute as supportive of their dogma
    4) they believe the anti-gay industry because it’s supported by their “Christian” belief system
    5) they are too undereducated to understand and comprehend the U.S. Constitution
    6) they want to push us back in the closet and lock the door so they can keep their hetersexualist supremacy
    7) they don’t want to see equality for gays, period.

Amazing. This is caused by the dumbing down of america. The whole commercial is bull, yet the “wheel of fortune” crowd laps it up. The question is how do you counter such nonsense in th face of the massive amounts of money the evangelicals pour into these TV ads.

“The question is how do you counter such nonsense in th face of the massive amounts of money the evangelicals pour into these TV ads.”

You don’t counter it, you just let the stupidity speak for itself. People are going to believe what they want to believe, and they watch this crap because it’s what they want instead of the truth (same reason people watch Fox (FAKE) News.

It’s impossible to reason with idiots like these because they keep filling each others heads with more intolerant BS.

“5) they are too undereducated to understand and comprehend the U.S. Constitution”

This is what I keep TRYING to say, we are gauranteed the right to persue happiness. Or am I thinking of some other paper? I remember something about the right to pursue happiness being something my government gaurantees me. So I persued happiness, I got married.

Maybe these people didn’t read the same thing I read.

What the Mormons did to the gays in Califormia with PropH8, is the same thing that ths U.S. government did to native americans. We were given a contract (treaty) by the Californian government to get married, and then they reneged. Seems like history repeating. Apparently the California constitution stands for nothing except mob rule.

“Apparently the California constitution stands for nothing except mob rule.”

I’m just getting so fed up with it! Over and over again the same stupid BS with these idiots!

What does it take to get through to these people? We all want to be happy! So many of us want to get married- WHY DOES GENDER MATTER SOOOO MUCH!

Aaarrrrggghhhh!!!! Sometimes I feel like I’m banging my head against the wall with these idiots!
