Celebratory Kiss Stirs Up Homophobia in Honduras

Fans and footballers in Honduras have had their panties in a wad this week after this pic of two team members who appear to be smacking each other on the lips, rather than on the ass as most sports pros do, during the match between Vida and Deportes Savio.
According to reports, the players in the pic, Orlin Peralta (the one in the back) and Brayan Beckeles (the one in the front) have been forced to go on the record to deny that they were locking lips with each other. “They say”, the angle of the pic makes it look bad, but they were really only kissing on the cheek. .
Homophobia still runs rampant in all sports world-wide, and especially in certain countries, which it’s really sad that this is EVEN and issue…I mean really, even if they went home after the game and did the dirty…how would that take anything away from anyone or the game of soccer? Society still has a lot of growing up to do.
Either way…I think the pic is REALLY hot!
