Happy Halloween from gayagenda.com

Well, another year has almost passed, and yes, as the late-in-the-year holiday season approaches us, we begin to look back and reflect on things that have happened over the past year.
For me, 2009 has been a great year. We witnessed the inauguration of our first Black President. The hate-crimes bill that’s been over 10 years in the works was signed into law, and even though the steps may seem small, we’ve actually made some real progress in the New England states towards marriage equality.
So on this Halloween, as you’re out chasing tricks and treats, make sure you stay safe, and take just a moment to enjoy the sweetness of progress we’ve made. We may still have a long way to go, but each step forward is a step in the right direction! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween! (it’s my favorite holiday)
