Singer-Songwriter and Rapper Anye Elite has set out to prove that love and music are truly universal. His vocal talents are combined with his lyrical abilities to create an innovative mixture of pop, hip-hop,r&b and acoustic soul. Some say he may very well be on the brink of ushering in a new genre of music which he has already labeled “homo-hip-pop”. Yes you read correctly….Homo. Much of the content of Anye’s music draws on his experiences as a gay black man and despite being involved in the notoriously homophobic world of urban music, Anye remains hopeful that listeners and music lovers alike will connect with the universal experiences of love and life.
