The Target Widens

We all know why the LGBT community is upset over Target’s indirect donation to Tom Emmer…because he stands against marriage equality and he hangs out with anti-gay punks who think gays should be murdered.

But wait…that’s not all!

According to a post on Change.org – Gay Rights:

But what Emmer doesn’t say on his Web site is that as a state legislator in Minnesota, he also worked hard to try and restrict surrogacy to husband and wife couples only. During debate on a bill that discussed contractual arrangements for surrogate mothers, Emmer inserted an amendment that would have prevented gay and lesbian couples, as well as unmarried heterosexual couples, from using a surrogate mother.

    I though republicans were for less government intrusion into the citizenry’s lives?
    From everything I’m reading, they are FAR more intrusive and “big brother-ish” than even the worst communist regime around!

    They want less intrusion into our private lives, yet this sounds like they are trying to control other peoples lives. Amazing isn’t it?
