How You Do the Voodoo That You Do?

Adam Lambert is under someone’s spell in his new song “Voodoo.” The track, which appears on international versions of Lambert’s debut album For Your Entertainment, should be released in the U.S. soon, according to his Twitter account.
Lambert announced the song’s release to his fans late Thursday, writing, “Song will be released soon in US on WWFM & FYE Remix EP! Check out VOODOO! Bonus track co-written w Sam Sparro appearing on international release of FYE. Turn it up.”
“Voodoo” has a spacey feel that is reminiscent of the For Your Entertainment cover art. (Co-writer Sparro has penned tracks for “Star Trek” and “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” With its throwback, new-romantic vibe, it feels like it could have easily been recorded by Duran Duran during their 1980s heyday.
Simon Cowell Weighs in on Clay Aiken

Simon Cowell (American Idol judge and former critic of runner-up Clay Aiken) had this to say about his recent coming-out announcement.
“Wow, that’s a shock,” Cowell joked to Extra when the syndicated entertainment news program informed him of the former American Idol runner-up’s decision to finally confirm what everyone but his most deluded Claymate fans had already figured out. “It’s like being told Santa Clause isn’t real — unbelievable.”
Adam Lambert: The Cat’s Curiousity
February 5, 2010 by James Hipps · 2 Comments
Despite his sexuality, this 28-year-old goth pretty boy still attracts many female fans, secretly wishing for him to convert or at least consider switching to the other side. Perhaps there is hope.
He told the UK’s Times, “I’m openly gay so they know I’m not going to have sex with a woman — although, I like making out with girls from time to time. I have this curiosity at the back of my mind. I’ve never had sex with a woman and I’m a little bit curious about it.”
Ellen and Simon Cowell Talk ‘Idol’ Politics

Before Simon Cowell announced his shocking end-of-the-season departure, the really big American Idol news was America’s lesbian sweetheart Ellen DeGeneres joining the singing reality competition as an all-powerful judge. The seemingly opposite personalities sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the changing of the guard and the atmosphere at the ratings juggernaut.
The two outspoken stars spoke head-on about AI post-Adam Lambert, where sexuality and other personal factors will become harder and harder to keep out of what’s intended to be an amateur vocalist competition.
With her usual gentle wit, the daytime talk-show host joked, “Simon, I guess this is as good a time as any to tell you — I’m gay.”
The frank and famously sarcastic Simon Cowell hit right back, deadpanning, “Are you serious? No one told me that.” In all seriousness, the series co-creator said, “Let me tell you something: We are the least racist, homophobic show in the world. What we do have, thank God, is a sense of humor. I hate political correctness. I wouldn’t go into any show saying anything is off-limits. If we have to abide by a ton of rules, we might as well call it a day now.”
What’s Your Take on Adam Lambert?

OK, not like we should be spending this much time on the American Idol runner up….even if he is gay…but I found this post on Ricky.org, and I have to know, how do you feel about Adam. Some people have come to Adam’s rescue, and some have dogged him out. Where do you stand? Read the post from Ricky.org then take the poll.
Wow. I have no words. Well actually I do.
So Adam Lambert refused to talk about gay politics and decides to show the finger on live television to the editor of OUT Magazine… and when he gets criticized for his lewd performance on the AMAs and gets removed from a high profile performance on Good Morning America, he cries discrimination. Perez Hilton comes to his rescue. The uber-fans become gay activists overnight on Twitter.
Your album is selling for 99 cents on Amazon.com Adam. Good luck.
