Cali Beauty Queen Cites Bible for Gay Death
February 24, 2010 by James Hipps · 13 Comments
And who says crime doesn’t pay? At least hate crimes that is. It looks as though another ‘beauty queen’ is attempting to cash in by spewing anti-gay hate.
According to a post on ninemsn.com:
Another US beauty queen has caused controversy with an anti-gay rant — this time citing Bible passages that call for death to homosexuals.
Miss Beverly Hills 2010 Lauren Ashley told Fox News she would remain a virgin until marriage and shunned drugs despite partying with the likes of Paris Hilton, but it was her answer to questions about same-sex marriage that attracted the most attention.
“In Leviticus it says, ‘if man lies with mankind as he would lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination — they shall surely be put to death and their blood shall be upon them’,” she was quoted as saying.
“If (God) says that having sex with someone of the same gender is going to bring death upon you, that’s a pretty stern warning … and he knows more than we do about life.”
Ashley will be competing for the Miss California title that Carrie Prejean carried into the Miss America pageant last year, where she triggered global debate over her objection to gay marriage and got into a verbal war with showbiz blogger Perez Hilton.
But despite the press attention, the 23-year-old personal trainer doesn’t think her chances of success have been harmed: she claims to have many gay friends and denies harbouring hatred.
I would LOVE to meet her “gay friends”, who she thinks should be murdered. Of course, we all know murdering gay people isn’t hate, it’s simply spreading the love of God.
I would imagine she’s looking to pick up where Carrie Prejean left off.
John Hawkins – Living Proof the Right is Wrong
January 2, 2010 by James Hipps · 2 Comments
“However, the extraordinarily vile, over-the-top and perverted attacks on Carrie Prejean by gay marriage supporters fully revealed an extremely ugly side of a movement that too many Americans falsely view as victims.” – John Hawkins on Carrie Prejean
John Hawkins, a writer for the ultra-right wing nuthouse ‘Townhall’ is living proof that those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. He’s also living proof of just how wrong the right is.
Being obese largely contributes to many diseases including, but not limited to cardio-vascular disease and cancer (two of the largest killers in the U.S.), as well as type II diabetes and many other diseases and health related issues…Now before you start to think that I’m simply making fun of this guy’s obesity, I’m going to set the record “straight” and let you know I’m not. See, the problem I have with Hawkins is multi-faceted. My marriage, if I were allowed to marry, would in no way shape or form affect the life of Mr. Hawkins, whereas his chosen sedentary lifestyle which also includes overeating does affect mine. How? Well, obesity is a national epidemic in this country which is driving health care cost up at an alarming rate. This epidemic of obesity affects all of us, regardless of whether we have insurance or not. Now I would like to encourage Mr. Hawkins to change his lifestyle. Statistics show, even if you have never exercised one day in your life up to the age of 40, then begin a regiment of proper diet and exercise (recommended at least 30 minutes a day 5 times a week), you can lose weight, and reduce your risk of cardio-vascular disease by up to 90%. Exercise doesn’t mean you have to go to the gym either. Get out and take a walk, rake leaves or do yard work, walk your dog, wash your car…etc. There are many ways to achieve the recommended amount of physical activity.
Now again, why do I bring this up, well yes in part because Mr. Hawkins obviously unhealthy lifestyle is a contributing cost factor to all Americans, but again to point out how people living in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. If you need to demean someone, especially based on physical characteristics to make a point, chances are you don’t have a point to make in the first place, which is exactly what he does in his “top-ten conservatives of 2009″ list.
But before we get to his list, I have to address the fact I don’t understand the mentality of prefacing a top-ten list of the “best conservatives” by throwing the President and the First Lady under the bus, especially when you do it by judging physical appearance and not with political factoids. Because of this, I would offer Hawkins another piece of advice…When you downgrade someone based upon physical characteristics, you’re really only demonstrating your own insecurities and you greatly discredit and reduce yourself to nothing more than a seemingly undereducated, hypocritical, potentially racist, loud mouth, Rush Limbaugh wannabe, Republican entertainer.
When I say Hawkins is an entertainer, I actually mean he’s got it all down pretty good. Hawkins cries…I mean really cries about how “mainstream media” just won’t give fair and balanced coverage to conservatives…you know, much like FOX gives to Dems, liberals and progressives.
Now, to address Hawkins’ post, he begins his list with:
Barbara Walters named Michelle Obama the most fascinating person of 2009. Really? Based on what? Her big arms? Her terrible fashion sense? The fact that she’s married to the worst President in American history?
OK, so I can look past this immature rant as jealousy. I mean really. The 400 pound white guy probably isn’t getting any satisfaction, so yes, beautiful and physically fit people, especially those who are as well-liked as the First Lady, most definitely intimidate him. I find it amazing how Hawkins has to stoop so low as to offer criticism of the First Lady by saying Mrs. Obama has “big arms”. Again, let’s consider the source of this criticism. The dig about fashion sense…Well, her elegance is something that perhaps I too am a bit jealous of. Now, when referring to Mr. Obama as the worst President in American history, how can that be determined after less than a year in office? Surely Hawkins can’t be saying the 8 years George W. spent in the white house were years of stellar accomplishments…could he? If he’s that delusional, I would remind Hawkins that during those 8 years, this country became engaged in two wars, saw a sharp increase in the poverty level, and the economy tanked. Hawkins, your comments leading up to your list are in poor taste, and to put is simply, are blatantly stupid.
Well, regardless of his baseless racism, bigotry and jealously, Hawkins does have quite a sense of humor…even if unintentional. The proof is in the pudding, if there’s any pudding left.
His top ten list of conservatives for 2009 (pardon me while I compose myself and stop laughing) are:
10) Andrew Breitbart (A nobody! Perhaps that’s why he’s at # 10?)
9) Marco Rubio (A popular Republican name. Confirmation Hawkins watches FOX.)
Rush Limbaugh (Birds of a feather?…or perhaps Limbaugh is his “American Idol”?)
7) Jim DeMint (Proves that Hawkins is also a homophobe. Perhaps he’s been hit on by a bear lover?)
6) Carrie Prejean (Proof this guys doesn’t get laid, and probably is a real closet porn lover!)
5) Dick Cheney (It’s about time Cheney made a top ten list other than Letterman’s.)
4) Sarah Palin (Again, proves he’s a homophobe who doesn’t get laid.)
3) Glenn Beck (Proof of FOX watching and a perfect demonstration of what drinking too much does to the brain.)
2) James O’Keefe & Hannah Giles (WTF?)
and….his winner for 2009 conservative of the year is…..
1) The Tea Party Movement (A small group of angry white racist who want to take back a country that really never belonged to them in the first place. Remember the Native Americans? The one’s your ancestors raped, diseased and murdered, all in the name of God and the Bible? That’s who this country really belongs to! And tea-partying against health insurance for all Americans is something to brag about? A clear demonstration of how those who have never done without want to make sure that those who have, are the only one’s that ever do. It amazes me how someone of Hawkins’ stature, which is one of the largest (pun intended) contributing factors to rising health care cost can even begin to want to deny health insurance to those who are in need. That’s the “All American” patriotic way!)
Again Mr. Hawkins, if you’re going to compile a list of who you think are great conservatives, be my guest, but perhaps you shouldn’t start by degrading others who have done nothing to you, except perhaps make your life as an American a little better. After all, America is a much more respected place with Bush out and Obama in. That’s a proven statistic.
In conclusion, I will admit one thing. I’m relatively happy to see this list, because if these people are the “best” the conservative movement has to offer, I really don’t think there’s a whole lot to worry about! Thanks for the entertainment! Oh, one last thing…Why isn’t Steele on your list?
Should Prejean Be Scrutinized?

In the news recently there has been media scrutiny against the newly crowned Miss California Carrie Prejean, who’s been taking harsh heat for responding to a gay marriage question, but saying, I think Marriage is between a Man and a Women.
Many newspapers, television shows, and gay rights organizations have been relentlessly bashing the fallen princess by playing up the recent discovery of her six sex tapes and the candid photos taken by a “mean photographer”, that took advantage of the situation, says Prejean.

Sounds like we’ll be able to fill in all the 12 days before too long. Oh those good Christian moral values that just wouldn’t allow Miss “opposite marriage” to condone something as horrible as equality…not to mention how “God” spoke to her while she was being asked whether or not she supported same-sex marriage at her beauty pageant.
Oh the webs we weave.
The biggest problem I have with this, we shouldn’t be comparing something beautiful, like love and marriage, to something less than tasteful. I mean, realistic terms who is Carrie Prejean? Some Cali girl who bit off more than she can chew, and now somehow that’s suppose to gain support for equality?
I do realize the implications however, which are that yes, many Republicans do have a tendancy of being holier than thou, demanding smaller government, yet bigger government in the lives of those they oppose, lying and not supporting equality for those who they consider as “less than”.
Well Ms. Prejean, I have to tell you, I personally don’t care if you made 1 or 2900 sex tapes, that’s your business. But keeping your good Christian values out of my life and away from my rights, will help keep me from laughing at your “biggest mistakes”.
It’s the most shocking turn yet in a scandal that has continued to follow the woman whose anti-gay marriage stance led to a national controversy and pitted her against pageant organizers.
Stripped of her crown, Prejean sued the Miss California USA pageant but reportedly settled after the sex tape surfaced. She called the sex tape the “biggest mistake” of her life.
Now a RadarOnline.com investigation has uncovered that there are SEVEN more “biggest mistakes” of her life – all of them solo performances, just like the one sex tape that the religious beauty queen has admitted to. And there are 30 photos of Carrie, most topless, some showing everything, and most taken by Carrie using her reflection in a mirror.

OK, I had made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t post anymore about this Miss Opposite Marriage character, but this is too good to leave alone. Take a look at the video below, Carrie Prejean sure was bold when speaking out against MY RIGHT (or lack thereof) to marry, but when it comes down to her personal issues, she simply doesn’t want to talk…Oh poor Miss Prejean…perhaps hypocrisy isn’t such an easy pill to swallow.
Doesn’t she know she’d be better off just going away!
