Gately’s Death Not from Drugs or Alcohol

It’s been revealed that Stephen Gately died in October from a undiagnosed heart condition, according to a forensic report.

Gately gained fame as a member of the Boyzone band and was on vacation on the Spanish island of Majorca when he died at the age of 33. The cause of death is acute pulmonary oedema, a build-up of fluid on the lungs caused by atheromatosis which is a thickening of the arteries. This is considered quite rare in a person under the age of 50.

The report made it clear he had not been killed by alcohol or drugs. When his civil partner Andrew Cowles discovered Gately, he may have been dead for up to eight hours.

Lesbian Fave Jillian Michaels Snags Reality Show

Set your Tivo’s, DVR’s and vibrators because fierce fitness trainer and lesbian favorite, Jillian Michaels, has snagged her own reality show.

NBC announced Tuesday that they have given the green light for the upcoming reality show, appropriately titled Losing It With Jillian Michaels.

Variety reported that the show will feature Michaels as she moves in with a family each week, teaching them about wellness, exercise and nutrition.

Unlike The Biggest Loser, Losing It will be self-contained episodes.

Michaels says that her persona on the new realty weight loss show will be much different from her pop culture character on The Biggest Loser.

“On Biggest Loser I play a character of sorts,” explained Michaels. “This show is very different. I’m not going to scream at a 10-year-old. You’re going to see different aspects of my personality, and it’s more about the biggest picture and not just being skinny.”

I don’t know about you, but I kind of want to see her scream at kids.

“I’m moving in with families across the country, getting down and dirt y and rooting out bad habits in every corner of their lives that are preventing them from health and happiness. Get ready America because I’m heading out and you never know, I might just end up on your doorstep so watch out!” Said the tough love trainer.

John Mayer Kissed a Boy…and Liked It?

John Mayer Kissed A Guy – Did He Like It?: Perez Hilton has already claimed he made out with John Mayer (If John Mayer made out with that troll, he must have been hammered!)– and now Radar Online is claiming that John has locked lips with another dude. The alleged lip-lock reportedly took place Saturday night at Toucan’s Tiki Lounge, a popular Palm Springs gay club. An eyewitness claims to have seen a male patron approach John and plant a kiss on him and the rocker allegedly did not protest. The crowd reportedly erupted in cheers – knowing that John is one of Hollywood’s most notorious ladies’ men, we’ll chalk this up to a “When in Rome” sort of thing!

Dean Sheremet’s “Family & Friends” Plan

We’ve all heard the rumors that LeAnn Rimes’ husband, Dean Sheremet is gay, and the country music star has been having an affair with her co-star Eddie Cibrian. Well, according to some of Dean’s family and friends, the part of about Dean being gay is true.

Last week on a Michigan radio show, “Mojo In the Morning”, Dean’s cousin Pebbles called in and poured the tea stating:

“I mean, there were so many situations that happened when we were teenagers… He’s gay. He’s been gay since he was probably five.”  “The family literally used to take bets on what age he would come out, and then all of the sudden he got married!”

After Pebbles, other calls began coming into the station. One of Dean’s former students  dance class students said, “He’s definitely gay.” And a woman that worked at a restaurat with Dean Sheremet’s high school friends said, “They called him “Dancer Dean”… [His friends] were surprised that he got married because they knew he was gay in high school the whole time.”

Perhaps this makes LeAnn’s statement on her blog that things are not always black or white a little less grey.

Jacko Becomes a Muslim

The singer changed his name to Mikaeel in a ceremony at a friend’s Los Angeles home just days before he is due in court.

Jackson, 50, is facing allegations of borrowing $7 million from Arab sheikh Abdulla Al-Khalifa and failing to repay the sum by recording two new albums, writing an autobiography and penning a musical.

The cash-strapped star – who was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness – was convinced to turn to Islam by producer Phillip Bubal and songwriter David Wharnsby.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “They began talking to him about their beliefs and how they thought they had become better people after they converted.”

“Michael soon began warming to the idea.”

Singer Yousef Islam – formerly known as Cat Stevens before he also converted to the religion – attended the star’s declaration of belief, known as the shahada.

Meanwhile, an itemized list of Jackson’s debts to the prince has been revealed – including a $5.7 tub of the singer’s favorite Haagen-Daaz ice cream.
