Is There Any Glee For John Barrowman?

“I absolutely love the show. Maybe I could be a teacher, you know, another teacher who comes in and helps out. That’s me just kind of brainstorming, but the fact that they want to have a meeting with me is really quite nice in itself. It’s so exciting!” he tells them in the April issue.
Whatever you do John, just don’t stop believing!

Not Much Love for Idol Runner Up
November 23, 2009 by James Hipps · 2 Comments
OK, so the internet is all abuzz about how the openly gay “gasp” Adam Lambert had a dancer simulate oral sex, sucked face with a musician, grabbed his crotch, had someone else grab his crotch, took a tumble on stage, sounded not so great, and flipped the birds to the audience as he left the stage…all in a little over 4 minutes.
Let me break it down for ya! First, did anyone hear Rihanna? Amazing what a studio can do for a voice! Secondly, grabbing your crotch…like Michael Jackson and Madonna did in the 80’s? Tripped a little on stage…now there’s something new. And lastly, flipping the bird to those who “booed” him after his performance – pretty sad when Idol’s runner up has to represent the anti-establishment dontcha think? (I’m sure Iggy Pop along with Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols would have been proud).
In case you missed, and want to see it…watch below, but I’m not giving refunds for the 4 minutes of lost life!
Who Is Going to Be Matt Damon’s Gay Lover?
September 21, 2009 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment
I wish I could say it was going to be me, but…that would only be in some sort of fantasy. But, according to several sources, Matt Damon is all set to play opposite of Michael Douglas in a new movie about the legendary pianist & entertainer, Liberace.
Damon will be playing Scott Thorson while Douglas portrays Liberace.
The film will highlight the life of Liberace, who according to rumors, had a five-year relationship with his bodyguard boyfriend Thorson. In 1982 however, the relationship ended and Thorson filed a palimony suit against the entertainer.
So, are we going to see them kiss? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. But, if Damon needs any practice, move over Ben, I’ll be the best man for that job!
GaGa for GaGa – ‘Gay Culture is My Whole Life’
August 14, 2009 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment
From Regent Media:
Out’s September issue takes a trip to Gagaland with a cover story on pop’s latest and greatest champion. In her most revealing and unexpected cover shoot to date, Lady Gaga poses naked for the cover, and discusses her devotion to the gay community, the value of glamour, and her fascination with’ 50s B horror films. “I very much want to inject gay culture into the mainstream,” she told writers Joshua David Stein and Noah Michelson. “It’s not an underground tool for me. It’s my whole life. So I always sort of joke that the real motivation is to just turn the world gay.”
Shot by Ellen Von Unwerth, the ten-page story shows the singer posing nude with a skeleton, wrapped head-to-toe in bandages, and lying in a coffin smoking. “I’ve become really fascinated with fantasy and monster movies of the ’50s,” she told Out. “Somehow I feel, socially, after a war or after something really bad happens there’s a rebirth of naiveté, so that’s where my obsession comes from. That’s when the fame monster is born.”
The September issue also marks a redesign for the 17-year old magazine, including a new section, Symposium, designed as a forum for debate, reminiscence, and criticism. And in a nod to the magazine’s heritage, Out has revived the logo that defined the magazine from July 1998 to August 2000. “We felt it was time for a refresh,” said Editor in Chief Aaron Hicklin. “The new design is quieter, less brash, and more thoughtful, which feels appropriate in these times.”
In an excerpt form the article:
Her devotion to gay culture is unparalleled by any other artist operating at her level of visibility or success. “When I started in the mainstream it was the gays that lifted me up,” she says. “I committed myself to them and they committed themselves to me, and because of the gay community I’m where I am today.” Earlier this year, in her acceptance speech for her MuchMusic award for best international video, Lady Gaga thanked “God and the gays.” Before agreeing to tour with Kanye West this fall, Gaga told the rapper, “I just want to be clear before we decide to do this together: I’m gay. My music is gay. My show is gay. And I love that it’s gay. And I love my gay fans and they’re all going to be coming to our show. And it’s going to remain gay.” That’s another clause in the Gagaland constitution: Gay culture shall gush undiluted into the rapids of society. It shall not be co-opted, fancified, dolled up, or Uncle Tommed. “I very much want to inject gay culture into the mainstream,” she says, “It’s not an underground tool for me. It’s my whole life. So I always sort of joke the real motivation is to just turn the world gay.”
Muzo’s Q&A: Get to Know Diva Pepper MaShay
December 14, 2008 by Gay Agenda News Team · Leave a Comment
According to Muzophile:
“I know y’all wanna go dive in the pool…lets get soakin’ wet!’ You know the famous club floor anthem from 2003 (heck, I sweated out 15 lbs. on the floor that year cuz of that song), which became an even bigger hit on ‘Queer As Folk.’ But who’s the woman kickin’ out those divalicious vocals? None other than dance icon Pepper MaShay.
Pepper has been turning out club hits now for years – ‘Dive in the Pool,’ ‘Release Yourself,’ ‘I Got My Pride’ and the Billboard #1 ‘Lost Yo Mind,’ just to name a few.
Now she’s got a brand new track out: ‘Does Your Mama Know?’
