GBMNews Announces the Arrival of GBMRadio

Radio GBM is a great addition to the vision of GBMNews. This station will allow us to introduce and feature emerging LBGT artists side by side with their more prominent counterparts.

Our station is a multi-channel site covering all the key genres. In the near future we will host live broadcasts. Kudos go to Emmial Fields for his work as program director and to Raymont Anderson as announcer.

Atlanta GLBT Radio Show Receives $5000 Grant

“Alternative Perspectives,” the only radio show in Atlanta specifically for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender audience, recently received a $5,000 grant from the Lloyd E. Russell Foundation.

“I am grateful to the Lloyd E. Russell Foundation for their vision, for the caring of the community and the support for the work in the GLBTQ community,” said Betty Couvertier, creator and producer of the radio show, which airs Tuesday evenings on the community-run WRFG 89.3 FM radio station.
