Safety Precautions for Dating Online

February 22, 2010 by Gay Agenda News Team · Leave a Comment

Many of those who are gay or lesbian live heterosexual lives and go to great lengths to hide their sexual preferences from their family and friends. To present a picture of what they consider normalcy to the world, they may have husbands, wives and children and only conduct their alternative lifestyle secretly and with lovers that they meet at online dating sites.

Honesty-is-the-best policy applies to gay and lesbians who are engaging in online dating just as it does to heterosexuals. Be honest with your dating partners about who you are without giving specific information that can provide a person who has less than honorable intentions toward you information that will allow them to find out where you live.

Never give out your real name or the name of the city in which you live or were born. These two bits of information are all that a determined predator needs to find out where you live and where you work. Take your time and let online relationships develop slowly over a period of months. Most predators do not waste months getting information. If you aren’t forthcoming with the information that they are seeking, they will move on to easier pickings.

A Text Message on Valentines Day?

February 14, 2010 by Gay Agenda News Team · Leave a Comment

“H-VDAY! Get @ me!” A text message on Valentine’s Day? For your friends and family, fine. But for your lover? I don’t think so. Text is great for when you’re running late, want to set a quick date, or for sending a quick update. Valentine’s Day, however, warrants old school face time. Save the texts for conversations while in transit. On the day of romance, get in his grill and tell him exactly how you feel–in person. He’ll appreciate the sentiment. Plus, romantic person-to-person time can never be deleted from memory.

Single on Valentines Day?

February 14, 2010 by Gay Agenda News Team · Leave a Comment

Red roses, chocolate candies, special edition M&M’s, those stuffed plush red hearts everywhere. We’re surrounded by sensual seas of red on Valentine’s Day, a irritatingly crimson reminder to those single on the holiday.

You may think it takes two to have a good Valentine’s Day, but that’s not exactly true. With a little planning and persistence you can turn this Valentine’s Day into 24 hours of opportunity.

Grab Life By The Heart

The love gods don’t exactly align the timing of their gifts with the Valentine’s Day holiday, so it is possible that you may still be single on the big day. There’s nothing wrong with being single and riding doesn’t have to be synonymous with hopeless unhappy. Take control of your heart and manage those deceiving self-esteem stabbers by shifting how you think about Valentine’s Day. Whether you are content with being single or not, take the opportunity to treat yourself to a little love and a special night out.

Too Soon To Exchange Valentine’s Day Gifts?

February 7, 2010 by Gay Agenda News Team · Leave a Comment

Did you guys meet just a few days, weeks or months ago? Gay dating affairs tend to accelerate like dog years, but have you nibbled in your relationship long enough to celebrate Valentine’s Day?

The big V is about cuddle time, romance, passion and other niceties that men desire; but sometimes what should be Cupid’s dream ends up being a cauldron of stress, especially when it comes to gift exchange.

Now, for some of you, your romantic frequencies are strong enough to know when your dude wants gift-wrapping. But even then, what kind of gift should you give him?

For those that haven’t replaced the “should” for the “what,” the question remains: Is it too soon?
