Happy Thanksgiving from GayAgenda.com!

November 26, 2009 by James Hipps · 3 Comments

Those of us at GayAgenda.com would like to take this opportunity to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of our readers, whether you live in the U.S. or beyond.

Thanksgiving takes on a myriad of different meanings to all who celebrate the day. For some it’s about the ritual of being with family, for some it marks the beginning of the holiday season. For others it’s a time when we get together with our families, extended families and/or friends. It’s a time to reflect back on our year, our accomplishments, our defeats, our joys and sometimes our sorrows.

Regardless of what Thanksgiving means to you. Regardless of whether you celebrate the holiday or not, it is a day to be thankful. Even if you’re not in a place you feel thankful to be in, you still will find reason to be thankful for what you have…life. There is not a day go by we shouldn’t acknowledge our thankfulness for the life we have and the world we live in. As cliché as it may sound, all living persons have something to be thankful for.  If you wake up in the morning, you do have the power to make it a good day.

Often times however, as great as we humans are at finding things to be thankful for, we leave out the thing we should be most thankful for. It’s obvious to give thanks for family and friends. It’s easy to be thankful for the roof over our head, the clothes on our back and the food on our tables. But let’s not forget the one thing we need to be most thankful for…yourself.

Without you, nothing else would matter. Without you, there would be no family and friends. Without you there would be no meals, no holidays, no laughter no joy. You are an important element of what you have to be thankful for. So this holiday season, as you take time to give thanks for all the good in your life, make sure you take time to give thanks to yourself, for again, it’s you that has created the wonderful world in which you live.

Everyone is Talking About the Gay Agenda

July 5, 2009 by James Hipps · 2 Comments

And I’m not talking about this site. I’m not sure, but it seems there has been an increasing number of “challenged” people who are spouting off about the “Gay Agenda”. Just today, I found these two blatantly ignorant items which attempt to address the “Gay Agenda.”

The first is a video, talks about estrogen being put into our products, which makes people gay…wtf? Now here is the guy talking about some “massively gay agenda” going on. If nothing else, it’s worth a laugh.

The second, is from a post that talks about how wrong it is that things other than the “three r’s” are taught in schools. Oh, I’m sorry, I thought school was to provide education, which goes much further than learning to read, write, add or subtract.

Here’s an excerpt:

Every fall, millions of parents drop their children off at taxpayer-funded public schools. Unfortunately, many of these same parents have little or no idea of what is happening to their children once they pass through security into the classroom. Instead of learning the three R’s, or how to be good citizens, schoolchildren are being taught to reject their parents’ values and to affirm – even celebrate – homosexual behavior.

Here is the first thing that bothers me:

Only one side of the Gay Agenda coin is EVER presented in these culture war confrontations. The Gay Agenda activists have been hugely successful in indoctrinating the minds of the American people–at least the minds of American news media types. They categorize any objection whatsoever to the Gay Agenda as hateful, homophobic, and they even compare it to racism.

Wow, now there are some powerful statements. Powerfully ignorant statements. Here is what we’re up against. Perhaps the Stonewall riots were 40 years ago, but this is why our work (the work of the LGBT community) has really only just begun.

And yet another post talks about why gay people shouldn’t be allowed in the military…because it causes murder!

Had he not been in the Navy; he would still be alive. The Armed Forces is not a place for Homosexuals. It is a tragic thing; but it his own fault.  Gay blades do not belong in the Armed Forces; it is just that simple. This is why this person is dead. Most likely he came onto some officer and they did not like it and they killed him. Do I think it was right, that he was killed? No, I do not. But, if he had not been in the Navy and most likely not shot his mouth off, he would still be alive.

Oh, and for those who continue to seek out the real “GayAgenda”, either visit this site, or know that yes, there really is a “Gay Agenda” and it is two fold.

1. To enjoy the same equality of all other tax paying citizens.

2. Please refer to number one.

Happy Memorial Day from GayAgenda

May 25, 2009 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment

Oh memorial day…the beginning of summer, time to break out the white in your wardrobe,  fire up the grill, hit the beach, jump into the pool.  Memorial day is a time to have fun with your family and friends, enjoying the warmth of the long sunny days.

But as we should everyday, I hope this Memorial Day you’ll also find time to recognize those who fought, and those who died fighting in wars and defending our country.

I do not believe that war solves anything.  I never believe that the death of innocent soldiers results in a positive outcome.  But I do know, even as it is happening now, if history continues along the same path, it will happen again.

It would be grand if we lived in a world of peace.  One without hate, one without war.  Unfortunately we don’t, and because of that, we still need to honor those who have given their lives in those wars.

Although our involvement in any war has been questionable since World War II, we need to remeber the soldiers who died in fight.  We need to remeber how this nation started.  We need to remember our fore fathers who wanted equality, freedom and liberty for all citizens.

That fight still goes on as well.  The fight for all citizens to have equality, freedom and liberty, the very things this country was founded on.

We also need to remember the Native American people, who were forcefully removed from their homeland.  We need to remember how Native Americans were captured, relocated, diseased and murdered, and in many instances, in the name of God and the Bible.

We need to remember how this country was built by slaves.  Slaves taken from their homeland to work, like animals.  We need to remember how African-Americans fought for their rights.  How they were lynched, hung and murdered in grotesque ways.  How they were segregated and oppressed, in the name of God and the Bible.

Let’s not forget about the Jews who have been persecuted, discriminated against and murdered for holding on to their faith in a country that was built on the foundation of freedom of religion…again, in the name of God and the Bible.

Don’t forget those who fight today for their rights and equality.  Our LGBT brothers and sisters who have been disowned by family, beaten, discriminated against and murdered…in the name of God and the Bible.

Unfortunately, one of the greatest wars of all times has been going on in this very country for over 200 years.  It is a civil war, one that has continuously been fought between “Christians” and minorities.  Minorities have struggled every day to survive a war taking place within this very nation.  A war to decide whether all people in this country truly are equal, or if some are less deserving of rights.

So this Memorial day, as you sip on your margarita, as you take a swim in your pool, please take time to remember all of those before you, and even beside you today, who battle in the many wars that have been, and are being fought.

Anti-Gay AFA Has Their Panties in a Wad Again

January 28, 2009 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment

Don’t they ever stop with their hate, intolerance and bigotry…all in the name of Christianity? Now the American Family Association, Donald Wildmon’s anti-gay, anti-anything that’s not white, Christian and scared of them group has begun harassing the folks at PepsiCo.  This time because of an ad that has aired in the UK which they claim promotes the Gay Agenda.

Pepsi however didn’t seem to concerned as Wildmon stated their response to his concerns were “condescending”.

Of course the AFA has launched a boycott of the Pepsi company, but it doesn’t appear to have made an impact.

Way to go Pepsi! The real Gay Agenda loves you!
