Meet Levi Poulter aka Miami Levi:

Talking with Levi Poulter, aka Miami Levi, is a very pleasant journey. He is one of the hottest American models I have ever seen, but beyond the man who is in front of the cam always ready to let the photographers shoot on him, Levi is all fun and pleasure. Are you ready to ride on this race? Levi is throwing a glimpse on you now and wants you take it.

How did you start in the modeling business?

I wanted to be a model when I was younger and I even tried to do it but was unsuccessful. It didn’t become good until I was in the right place at the right time. I was introduced to Bruce Weber and that is what kick started my career.

How was it working with Bruce, a visual artist and photographer with a sexy, erotic and wild vision?

He is really relaxed and calm. He makes his models very relaxed too. You just feel like you are hanging out having a nice time and he just starts taking pictures. It is all very natural with him.

Why did you want to be a model?

I wanted to be a model because everyone kept saying…”you should model” and then I started to believe it - but then again…mothers are always positive. I do like it though when the photographer is able to capture an emotion. It makes the image so much stronger.

You are a very passionate man full of life; do you like to live life with drive and passion?

YES! I am a really easy going guy, but very passionate too.

How passionate are you? How do you express that?

That depends on the subject. Some things really get me going.

Like what?

Well I am passionate about religion and politics I guess. I guess I have a strong opinion, also very passionate in bed.

What do you think is your model trademark? Why do you think the clients prefer you?

I think the thing that sales me is my ass, lol kidding. Seriously I think that it’s my connection with the camera at least that is what I am told the ability to make my eyes reach out. People are a lot more interested if they feel a connection.

Where did you learn to be a model? What were the easiest, the worst and the hardest thing growing up as model?

Well…I didn’t grow up as a model…so that part was easy. You just learn to model from doing shot after shoot it is a little intimidating in the beginning especially when you have a German photographer yelling at you so you learn quick what makes them happy and it is a lot of acting too.

A normal person can believe a model career is full of excitement, glamour and fun. How true is that for you?

I always laugh about that because it is very untrue I think. I do get to travel great places and I guess it is good. When I was starting out it was awful though. We were all smashed in a models apartment and living on nothing and eating hotdogs. We looked great when we went out, but that was about it lol

When you travel because of jobs do you have time to do anything as other tourists and to learn about other cultures?

I love that actually I love learning languages and how others live, love new food too.

How many languages do you speak?

Just two but I have learned phrases in French Russian Chinese and Polish even Catalan. I tried to learn something anywhere I go.

I guess many guys told you Tú eres muy guapo.

Yes and gracias amigo.

What about press and reports that talk about the modeling world full drugs, alcohol and parties?

It is true to some aspect I guess. I have never tried any drugs but I do drink sometimes.

I think a model needs to be very disciplined, were you educated to be disciplined?

Very! I was raised in a very Christian home.

You are a gay model. A model I interviewed once told me that most of the photographers are gay. Do you think the fashion industry is very open to the diversity?

It’s funny and most art directors are gay also, but they like to believe there models are straight. Some fantasy thing or something.

You said you were raised in a very Christian home, how was your coming out process?

Miserable, long and hard like me lol no but really they are all great now. My family I mean.

Can you have honest and real friends in the fashion business?

You can it is like any business that way.

What is the best and the worst thing you learned in your modeling career?

I guess I learned to be more secure with myself. It really messes with your self-esteem if you let it. People can be brutal. That is probably the worse too, girls are very vulnerable that way.

Did you have a mentor in the fashion industry someone that you appreciate?

I haven’t been asked that before. I can’t say I have/had a mentor, maybe I will think of one later, but no.

Have you met famous people?

Well you meet famous people here in Miami anyway.

You worked for different campaigns in the fashion industry, editorial and runways, what do you prefer?

I think I prefer runway the most, it is fun and a little adrenaline rush I like print too, and campaigns always have great locations.

You worked with Abercrombie and Fitch, L’Uomo Vogue, Target, German catalogues and stores and represented by numerous agencies throughout the years in the states and abroad: Group, Ford Models, Traffic, Beatrice, Goodfellas and Click. And now you left your mother agency to pursue your own site and personal shoots. Why did you make that choice?

Well I just stumbled into it, but now that I am there I realize I really enjoy it. Some people don’t agree that you can do fashion and nude, but I don’t see why not. Women do it all the time.

Your site is tasteful and delicious and nude! It’s great there. What kind of nude do you like?

I like form plain vanilla to erotic, just depends on the concept.

You revealed almost everything but in a sexy and erotic way worked with taste.

Thank you, I try not to be trashy LOL.

So the idea in the web site is to share part of what you are with your followers?

Yea I guess it is. I am letting them have a glimpse at a side of me (or a part of me lol) that not many see. It is business, but I enjoy it to. It is all natural.

When you are naked in front of the mirror, what is the thing you like the most and the least of your body?

Hmmm it depends on the hour I look at myself. I like to look at my stomach and I do a little side crunch to see how those oblique are coming.

Why do you think American Society has issues about male nude or full frontal nude and about sex?

I think probably because it has been driven by such a hetero, machismo group for so long.

What do you do to keep your body in great shape? Do you avoid some foods? Are you a crazy gym person?

I eat healthy usually and I love working out, it is fun to me and a nice way to release stress and tension. I don’t focus on the food too much because that would drive me crazy. I like food too much and wine and cava.

Were you obsessed about having a great body?

I like having a nice body but am in no way obsessed.

What are your favorite’s clothes to wear when modeling? and what do you wear daily?

Tank tops and shorts and I like jocks too.

What is your favorite runway, editorial, fashion campaign or advertisement?

My all time favorite was a shoot for women’s shoes in the Adirondacks in NY so fun and beautiful.

How does it feel being in the dreams and fantasies of many men that follow your site and career?

I love making guys happy. It’s great!

As a model I imagine you a trendy person. Aren’t you?

I am a little I guess, but I am definitely not preoccupied with it.

What are your favorite’s designers and what things should always in a man’s closet?

I love Dsquared and John Bartlet. I also love Rufskin underwear. I also really like modern amusement, which is a lot more affordable.

What do you do when you are not modeling? How is a normal day in your life?

Boring I just answer emails and maintain my site, walk the dog, etc.

What would you like to say to our readers?

I would like to thank them though for spending the time to actually read this interview. I feel like I should offer words of wisdom to make it worthwhile now. No wisdom here though - so I will say, you are beautiful, seriously. Don’t listen to anyone else. You are beautiful.

If you are the only survivor in an island and have the chance to carry only three things whose ones would choice?

I would bring a plane, a pilot and Swedish fish.

What is your ultimate sex fantasy?

Is this appropriate for your readers? Well it starts by me driving past a Turkish, oil-wrestling practice camp, and then having my car break down lol you can figure out the rest from there. Have you ever seen those guys….wow!

What kind of porn do you like?

I like dirty porn. I like it to seem real. I hate when porn guys try to act lol

What do you think about gay rights and would you get married?

I think the issue is equal rights. I don’t feel the need to get married as much as I feel the need for all people to be treated equally and have the same medical and governmental rights. If the only way to see that happen is to get married, then yes, I would.

What do you expect of the new government in your country?

Not sure, but I expect it to be a hell of a lot better then the last administration. What a nightmare.

Did you find the man of your life?

NO. He found me.

With what famous artist would you like to have a night of love?

Jason Statham.

What are your favorite books, food and movies?

I think my favorite book is ‘The Alchemist’, great moral and story. I also really liked ‘The Five People You Meet in Heaven’. Food, all food actually that is clean. By that I mean not too many spices or sauces etc. I like to taste the food. My favorite movie as a kid was Mr. Mom lol now I tend to like some Spanish directors and independent films.

How would be the perfect romantic meeting?

What are you afraid of?

Stalkers.

What are the best and the worst compliments you’ve heard?

I don’t focus on the worse…. what good do they do? The best I am not sure, but I love it when people write me and enjoy my site or pictures. It is my work and so it makes me happy to know that someone enjoys it.

What is the best and the worst of your character?

My passion for both.

What puts you in a bad mood? What makes you smile?

A bad mood driving in Miami. Seeing someone else smile can make me smile. Smiles are contagious like yawns.

Is there something that makes you scream?

Driving in Miami.

What is the best lesson you’ve learned about life?

The best lesson is to treat others as you would like to be treated.

Do you live thinking about the future or do you like to live the present?

I live in the present, but plan for the future. How was that for an answer? lol

What advice could you tell the young models pursuing success and a great career?

Sleep your way to the top. KIDDING! To listen to any criticism selectively and not let it get you down. Unfortunately people will try to tear them down in order to build themselves up. Just realizing that is all that is happening will allow them to step right past that person and move on.

If you die and come back to reincarnate would you be the same person or who or what would you like to be?

I would be a slutty girl, but if you died before me I guess that position would be taken ;)….hmmm….I would like to come back as me, but maybe in the Roman Empire.

What is your idea of earthly happiness?

How many times are you going to bring up the Turkish oil wrestling???

Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?

He MAN lol. Since I was a kid actually, and also the Wonder Twins. I always wanted to be one with my sister.

The quality you most like in a man?

CONFIDENCE (not to be confused with arrogance)

What you don’t like to see in the world?

I am going to pull a Sara Palin and say that ‘I am not going to answer that question, but I will say’ that I hate the need for mean to conquer, whether it be a nation or country, a race, a woman, a bull, whatever it be. You get the picture.

Barry Quinn Fingered on the Bench

Cleveland Browns quarterback and heart-throb Brady Quinn has chosen to have surgery on his broken right index finger.

This will bench Quinn for the next six to 10 weeks, which will carry him through the end of the regular season.

The other option for Quinn would have been to keep his finger immobilised in a splint.

Taking a Break from the News and Hate

The male sculptured body has been immortalized for centuries by artisans from around the globe. The muscled male body is enticing, chock full of intrigue, seductively powerful and sought after by both men and women the world over.
