Sailors Set Sail and Want to Rock the Vote

McCain wants to overturn the ruling in Roe v Wade- the abortion ruling that states that I, as a woman, have a right to an abortion. He wants us to stick around in Iraq even though the Iraqi Government wants us to step aside- They are eager to prove themselves. McCain believes that there’s nothing wrong with Bush’s policies that have shipped jobs overseas, making it harder for people who want a job to find one. He believes that marriage should be defined as One Man, One Woman. He seems to support wind and solar energy in his ads, but in his plans for this country, he has only budgeted out how he’s going to build nuclear plants.
Obama, on the other hand… Supports a woman’s right to choose. He has opposed the war in Iraq since it was proposed, and he believes we should let the Iraqis have their chance to run their own country. Obama believes that American jobs should not be shipped overseas, that LBGT people shouldn’t be discriminated against. He believes that women and men should be payed the same for doing the same job.

“They told me to take off my clothes to rape me or they would kill me immediately. This moment was the worst moment in my life,” he told CNN, weeping as he spoke of the 2005 ordeal.
“I was watching them taking off their clothes, preparing to rape me. I did not know what to do, so I started shouting loudly, ‘Please do not do that! I will ask my family to give you whatever you want.’”

July 17, 2008 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment
