Rick Warren: Bamboozling the Etheridges, et.al.
December 24, 2008 by Gay Agenda News Team · Leave a Comment
Rick Warren is a likeable teddy bear with an affable personality. As you said, he doesn’t have a tacky tweed suit and televangelist hair; he looks like a dad from down the street. His church does good work on global poverty and HIV issues, and I’m told he’s one of the more moderate evangelical leaders; he’s even broken with most of the others by believing in global warming, fancy that. But even if you believe that Rick Warren is suddenly sincere in his desire to help gay families, that all this attention has suddenly made him realize that all those statement he’s made were big mistakes, he and his church have a VERY long way to go before you can ask anyone else in the gay community to just take his word for it. But I guess you didn’t get around to asking him to put his money where his mouth is, huh? Slick-talking preachers have a way of avoiding that.

December 17, 2008 by James Hipps · 1 Comment
Yesterday, Melissa Etheridge appeared on “The View” and spoke candidly about her views on Prop 8. She speaks about how there has been cry out from the nation for marriage equality since the passage of Prop 8. She also gets interrupted abruptly by Sherri to talk about her new Christmas CD before she gets a chance to rip Elisabeth’s (the privileged white girl with blond hair) head off for her utter stupidity and obvious homophobic attitude. Give it a watch!

The 33 year-old Michaels gave birth to the couple’s twins, son Miller Steven and daughter Johnnie Rose, back in 2006.
Etheridge also has two children, daughter Bailey Jean and son Beckett from a previous relationship with Julie Cypher. Crosby, Stills & Nash guitarist David Crosby was the sperm donor for her first two children. The donor of the sperm for the twins has not been disclosed.
According to a quote in the New York Daily News, Etheridge said,“We have four children and we”re trying to find the right time.”
The couple entered into a civil partnership in 2003, but plan to make things official now that gay marriage has been legalized in California.
“We are so grateful for the blessings from our friends and family as we commence our vows, and begin the rest of our lives together.”
