McCain Selects Anti-Gay Palin as VP Running Mate

Presidential hopeful John McCain has chosen the staunchly anti-gay, pro-life,  Alaskan Governor, Sarah Palin to be his running mate.

Palin, 44, who’s in her first term as governor in the second state to constitutionally ban gay marriage.

According to Ralph Reed, former head of the Christian Coalition, the “We Hate Gays” group started by Pat Robertson, the guy who has the power to heal;

“This is a home run. She is a reformer governor who is solidly pro-life and a person of deep Christian faith. And she is really one of the bright shining new stars in the Republican firmament.”

Some other right wing voices contend however that she is even to far to the right of John McCain on the environment.  They are also concernd that she has been the governor of a small population state for only two years and prior to that, she served as the mayor of a township of only 9,000 people.  These are NOT the credentials needed to serve as the president of the United States in the event something were to happen to McCain.
