Sarah Palin IS the Right Wing Queen

February 8, 2010 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment

Yes, it’s become apparent, now more than ever, that Alaska’s former governor who quit during mid-term IS the queen of the right wing, leading her pack of wolves to the feast of hypocrisy.

Here’s a woman, who publicly denounces President Obama for reading teleprompters, yet has to have notes written on her hand to remember a few things that shouldn’t be that difficult to remember.

Here’s a woman who get’s up to talk for an hour about the economy, something she really isn’t qualified to speak about, yet is being paid $100,000 to do so…Hypocrisy at it’s best! The good ole’ American way! It’s all about the money!

Here’s a woman, who get’s up in front of people and talks about the constitution, and yet, has she ever read the constitution? Or even if she has (which I seriously doubt) would she understand it? Yet, through her cute little hockey mom smile and her “you betchyas” she has wormed her way into the hearts of millions who just love her because they think she’s just like them…not a very positive perspective of the average American if you ask me.

Sarah Palin is not qualified to run the U.S. She couldn’t even run Alaska. Sarah Palin LOVES to talk trash about President Obama, and sometimes for his community organizing background, yet, what’s her educational background again? Oh yes, that’s right, 6 schools to complete a 4 year degree. Not to dog out anyone without the same level of education of President Obama, as I haven’t those credentials either, yet I’m not up making statements about things I know nothing about and getting paid $100,000 an hour to do it by people (in the words of Rush Limbaugh) who have chosen to not participate in the recession.

But, this is typical of the right wing. And speaking of Rush, let me beat a dead horse for a moment and size up another right wing “leader”.  Can anyone say college drop out and OxyContin? Yet this man makes hundreds of millions because he knows how to talk trash about others.

But maybe, just maybe, only maybe, some of those right wingers may be starting to see through the smoke and mirrors.

According to a post on Red State, a highly conservative, Obama hating, website:

Let me be blunt: charging people $500.00 plus the costs of travel and lodging to go to a “National Tea Party Convention” run by a for profit group no one has ever heard of sounds as credible as an email from Nigeria promising me a million bucks if I fork over my bank account number.

And when it comes to Sarah Palin leading the “PAC”, the site projects:

I am more fearful that a bunch of well meaning people from across the nation are going to show up, expect more, and then grow disaffected or burn out when the deliverables they expect do not come in.

So again, are the right wingers starting to come to their senses or will the tide carry these nobodies (I mean really, they are nobodies when you look at it) to safety?  Will the right winging, tea parting, conservatives stay afloat on hypocrisy, fear and ignorance or will they drown in their flailing attempt to keep their head above water? I suppose only time will tell, but I for one, will not be tossing in life rafts out!

Right Wing Racism Alive and Well in Georgia

January 6, 2010 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment

Looks like homophobia is not the only Civil Rights issue of the day.  I’ve often said one of the biggest problems with the right-winging, tea-bagging population in this country is they have a difficult time understanding or dealing with the fact a man of color is in the Oval Office.

Don’t believe me…proof is in the pudding.

According to a post on WALB:

A doll found hanging off a Main Street building in Plains is causing controversy.

Controversial enough to get the United States Secret Service involved.

Witnesses say it was an image of President Barack Obama with a rope around his neck, and the display was found hanging in one of the city’s most recognizable sites dedicated to former President Jimmy Carter.

A few people were able to snap pictures of the black doll before it was taken down.

“I saw this stuffed thing hanging up,” said Alonzo Davis, Plains Resident.

Davis is one of the people who saw the doll hanging off the brick building, he said a sign on the front had President Obama’s name on it.

“People have seen it and have the pictures but no body is talking about it,” said Davis. “I don’t think it’s right I don’t know if it’s someone horse playing or what.”

Plains is proud of Jimmy Carter, with patriotism on display almost everywhere. Tourists walked around with no idea of what happened Saturday morning, but some who live here are speaking out.

“It’s wrong what they did, but I’m not shocked to hear about it,” said Plains resident Trevor Sims. “It’s a nice place to live and visit but some people out there don’t like it.”

“Some people out there don’t like it.” Yes, just as I don’t like right wing lunatics like Rush Limbaugh, Michele Bachmann, etc. But you don’t see me hanging effigies of them. There are Republican “leaders” who have been asking for Obama’s failure. They’ve been publicly praying for his death. This is the problem with the right and their first amendment rights. Speech is one thing. Saying you hate something or someone is your right…but when people like Bachmann, Limbaugh, Beck, et. al., open their mouths and spew hateful, racist bigotry and rhetoric, it’s a crime because they are inciting acts of violence in those who are undereducated and simply put, too stupid to know not to act on their hate.

The right wing Republicans ARE criminals and they should be treated as such!

Rush(ed) to Hospital: OxyContin or Heart?

December 31, 2009 by James Hipps · 5 Comments

So, by now you may have heard that our beloved Right Wing nutcase and convicted druggie Rush “I hope Obama fails” Limbaugh was taken to the hospital while vacationing in Hawaii (Odd that’s Obama’s there too) after suffering from “chest pains”.

To my knowledge, it still hasn’t been stated whether or not Rush had a heart attack, but it has been reported he’s ‘resting peacefully’ in a Honolulu hospital.

According to ABC News however:

Sources say Limbaugh told emergency workers he was taking medication for a back problem. He was treated at the hotel before being transferred to the hospital.

Kind of makes me wonder if Rush is back on the OxyContin.

Either way, heart attack or drug abuse, it’s also been reported that Rush may not be able to be back in the studio for his show which is set to go live again on January 4th of the new year…something that I personally think will make the start of 2010 a little better for all of us.

Joy Behar Calls OUT Rush Limbaugh on Marriage

December 18, 2009 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment

Absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Joy as she simply spits the truth. Take a look at this video of her show where she calls Rush “where’s my Oxycontin” Limbaugh OUT on the carpet for standing against marriage equality as he feels it will destroy the sanctity of marriage. Which one of his marriages would mine destroy?

The Problem With the Health Care Reform Debate

November 22, 2009 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment

So, perhaps this is not a startling revelation, or perhaps it’s only common sense, but as I watch the health care reform debate go on, and on, and on…I’ve come to the realization of the actual problem that’s preventing anything from getting done.

The only people who are debating health care reform are those who have never done without health care.

The majority of the  opposition of course lies within the Republican party.  By now, everyone should realize, any and all Republicans who stand against health care have certainly never done without.  Republicans typically have more money, and they certainly are afraid they may have to bear the burden of some poor sole who was too lazy to accomplish what they have in life.  God forbid Rush Limbaugh spend one penny of his $400 million a year salary on anyone’s health care other than his…I mean, he does have a Oxycontin addiction to deal with.

And what about Bill O’Reilly?  Did his ability to help out other end when he paid the woman he sexually harassed $20 million to shut-up and go away?

Let’s say we leave the pundits out of the picture.  I’m sure John McCain isn’t willing to sell one of his 7 houses to contribute to the cause.  Not that he should have to, but I simply don’t understand why someone with 7 houses would  be opposed to someone with zero houses being granted health care!

This is a sick America.  In more ways than one our nation is ailing.  The only people in congress who are pushing for the American people (the average person) are those who came from that background.

But the Republicans haven’t experienced what it’s like to do without, and that’s fine, but why should they be allowed to prevent others from knowing what it’s like to do without health care.  This is America!  It’s time for a different kind of “tea-party”, but not against health care reform, against the rich, who are using their money to prevent others from receiving health care.  That may sound simplistic in nature, but that IS exactly what’s happening!

This is a call to the modern day Robin Hood.  Where are my band of merry men to help take from the rich and give to the poor.  They’ve had their opportunity to do what’s right for America and they’ve allowed their greed to cloud their judgment.  They’re so worried about paying an extra $2,000 a year in taxes they can’t see beyond their greed.

Again, these are people who have multiple homes, earn hundreds of thousands each year, and many (Republicans in congress) are recipients of government run health care…the same care they don’t want anyone else to have!  Let those of us who struggle to get ahead, not those who were born ahead, debate and decide health care for all American citizens.  The time is NOW!
