God is Sarah Palin’s ‘Palm Pilot’
March 8, 2010 by James Hipps · 4 Comments
The following video demonstrates completely gullible some Americans are. They actually buy this. I sincerely wonder how long it took her to come up with this one. Is this a God complex or can Sarah Palin really “pray away the gay”, and can she really compare herself to God? Perhaps she has merely found a comfort zone by offering excuses rather than owning up to what she’s being criticized for.
Alec Baldwin on Sarah Palin

I still believe in Barack Obama. Each new president since the end of the Vietnam War in 1975 has been faced with an ever-growing mountain of problems that resist solutions, let alone solutions crafted with bipartisan support. Energy, America’s dwindling role in the global economy, health care, terrorism and its impacts.
We may struggle for the remainder of our history to solve those problems and we may come up short. But we are doomed to failure if we choose another incurious, phony populist who pulls off some bad Will Rogers moves and calls that a presidency.
DADT Suspended — During Gulf War
February 10, 2010 by Gay Agenda News Team · 1 Comment
Over the past quarter-century, since 1985, America has had seven Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. And five of the seven now support gays serving openly in the military.
Yet, despite evidence to the contrary — and there is evidence — the Republican and religious-right wing wind machines are still blowing hot and hard, suggesting repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” will be the end of the U.S. military. Or worse.
Colonel Oliver (convicted felon, Nicaragua gun smuggler, and – surprise! Fox News contributor) North last week suggested repealing DADT would invite the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) into our Armed Forces. (I’m not quite sure how that would work, as you can’t be a minor and serve in the military, but perhaps as he was running guns in Iran to help fight the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, North got a little too chummy with Noriega and what he was selling?)
The stories coming via the Beck-Hannity-O’Reilly-Palin-North Network are just jam-packed full of shock and awe. At this point, one would not be surprised to hear from them that if “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal were enacted, the sun would never rise again, and George Washington and Ronald Reagan would roll over in their graves.

What Kind of (Tea) Party Is It?
February 10, 2010 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment
Well, according to LA Progressive:
The Tea Party lays claim to the post Obama election victories in New Jersey, Virginia, and, most recently, in Massachusetts, claiming that these victories are reflective of public disatisfaction. The inference is that they represent a groundswell that will only grow, leading into the mid-term Congressional elections.
The reality is that it is more a play in obstructionist politics. The Tea Party was no more than an attention grab. It was like a person who draws attention to themselves at the neighborhood block party by hoo-rawing. All the Tea Partiers said to the nation was, “Party over here!” There was nothing else of substance to speak of. No new ideas. Just a recast of old ones and an effort to stay relevant in the public discussion.
The question really is, “What kind of party is it?” One to advances the discussion on how we become a better nation? Or one that just makes noise so the party they truly represent doesn’t become irrelevant. The tea partiers come from a demoralized party trying recraft a message. It’s an old message of an anti-taxation, anti-spending, anti-abortion, anti-gay platform.
And in case you haven’t noticed, the leaders of this so called “movement” which I would consider to be that of the bowel, consists of Sarah Palin and Michele “B.S.C.” Bachmann. So that definitely measures up to the anti-abortion and anti-gay classification.
What I really think has happened is there is a very disturbed sect of the American population who stand opposed to anything un-ultra-conservative-Republican. Of course these are the same people who thought the U.S. was doing great up through the end of the George W. Bush Administration. Now racism, homophobia and bigotry have reared their ugly heads and are showing out. I actually had the opportunity to witness a tea-party right here in Fort Lauderdale. There were a couple of old white guys actually dressed up in colonial outfits. Yes, the short pants, the high socks, the funny coats and hats…and don’t forget the wigs. I couldn’t help but to think…”Are they serious?” I mean really, like anyone is going to pay attention to some old guy who obviously doesn’t realize it’s not Halloween? And here they are, shouting and carrying signs about the deficit and health care. I would like to know, where were their signs when George W. took the surplus and turned it into a deficit? I would also like to know if they’ve ever done without health insurance…well, I’m sure I know the answer to that one…and being the good Republicans they are…I’m sure they are willing to die before they have to pay one dime to help insure anyone who is too lazy to get a real job that offers health insurance. Of course, I find it so ironic they are too stupid to realize the lack of health care for millions of Americans cost the tax-payer much more than insuring them ever will.
So I sum it up like this. The tea-party may be loud, but that’s about it. Their stupidity supersedes their knowledge and all they have to grasp onto is the fact they are bitter a man of color is in the White House. Sorry guys, you lose!
Hopefully this so-called tea party will become more along the lines of the Log Cabin Republicans or GOProud…heard, but never listened to…or really taken seriously, or better yet, hopefully they’ll just go away!
Levi Johston: Back On the Cover Uncovered
February 9, 2010 by James Hipps · 1 Comment
Playgirl had taken their full-frontal publication to fully on-line status after the print issues weren’t selling as hot as the men inside the cover, but it looks like the attraction to Levi Johnston (Sarah Palin’s daughter’s baby daddy) has stirred enough interest that they’ve printed out an issue and it’s ready to hit the stands on Feb. 22.
It looks like the issue will be offering some photos of the hockey boy’s moose meat that haven’t been previously released, so if you’re a collector of all things gay, then this is an issue you may want to pick up.
