Sean Hannity’s Dating Website

February 17, 2010 by Gay Agenda News Team · Leave a Comment

That Sean Hannity, the Fox News host, even has a dating section of his website Hannity.com is ripe for punchlines. That he calls it Hannidate? Even better. But for a guy so concerned with attacking homosexuals and protecting America from rabid homosexuality, it’s a little curious that he’s also making a few bucks off connecting two dudes who want to get it on.

Back in 2006, Joel Stein found 21 gay profiles on Hannidate, “a full 11 of which I thought were real (though I’d like to believe that the guy called ‘Seeking Fellow Cowboy Fans,’ who wants to get ‘back to my favorite mountain’ and needs ‘help herding sheep,’ is totally legit).” Back then, Stein reported “Hannity, it turns out, is against same-sex marriage but is pretty libertarian on gay relationships, often standing up to gay bashers on his show and putting gay former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey’s book on his book club list.” So much changes with time, eh?

But what gay American is actually counting on Sean Hannity to help them find love? Find out at: Queerty!

Schaeffer: Religious Right is American Equivalent of the “Taliban”

November 20, 2009 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment

Yup, that’s right, Frank Schaeffer, formerly with the religious right, equates the American religious right with the Taliban, and I have to say I agree. According to Schaeffer, “This is serious stuff”, and it is.  The religious right is literally calling for the death of President Obama.  Certainly very “Christ like”.  I’m sick to my stomach about this, and if Jesus has time to get off his dinosaur, I’m sure he’s rolling over in his grave.

SICK, SICK, SICK!  This is the incitement of violence, and it’s also treason.  It’s a plot to kill the American President, but a very deranged group of un-American, American citizens.

This has to stop!  This has to stop now and this is my warning to the Becks, O’Reillys, Hannitys, and Limbaughs and all other right wing nut jobs in this country who are nothing more than a mere embarrassment, a pimple on the ass of America, don’t ever let yourself been seen crossing a street in front of my car…I’ve been having trouble with my brakes, but I’m not having trouble with reverse!  (Oooh, how does that feel?  Is that a threat?  NO. Don’t take it seriously, I wouldn’t risk the damage to my auto as it means more to me than you ever will…I’ll just say the same little “prayer” for you.)

Don’t miss Frank Schaeffer on gayagenda.com’s Blog Talk Radio show coming December 2, 2009!

Hannity and Bachmann Almost Apologize

November 14, 2009 by Gay Agenda News Team · Leave a Comment

From: The Nation –

A fundamental tenet for both rightwing politicians and their media pilot fish is: Never, ever, apologize for the crazy. If you get caught exaggerating or even lying outright, simply respond by saying, “The left sees it differently” or “The mainstream media take their cues from liberals” or some such weasel-bite, even if the dispute is over widely accepted facts.

Yet in just the past couple of days, two of the loudest and most obdurate voices on the right have had to apologize, or at least feign doing so, for major bloopers concerning Rep. Michelle Bachmann’s Tea Party rally held on Capitol Hill on November 5.

The most slippery mea culpa came from Fox News’s Sean Hannity. On the day of the rally (a/k/a “the Super Bowl of Freedom”), he used fake footage to bolster Bachmann’s absurd claim that the protest drew a crowd of 20,000 to 45,000–when reliable estimates stretch from 4,000 to 10,000, tops. Hannity’s producers spliced scenes from the much larger 9/12 rally sponsored by Glenn Beck in between shots of Bachmann’s much smaller turnout on 11/5, suggesting that her group had spilled out onto the Mall.

Should President Obama Take On Fox News?

November 1, 2009 by James Hipps · Leave a Comment

There’s a post on Mercury News that claims President Obama is making a mistake by taking on FOX News. Below is an excerpt:

I never dreamed I would come to side with Fox News. I loathe its tone, its choice of stories, it snarling right-wing politics, the arrogance seeping from stars like Glenn Beck.

But the Obama administration, in branding Fox the adversary — not a traditional news organization, but an advocate — has made me what I could not make myself: a defender.

Why is the Obama team wrong? Let’s acknowledge first that their analysis is correct; Fox does push a point of view. It does it for the ratings, the glory and the money.

Then again, so does MSNBC. Does anyone want to argue that Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann are less opinionated than Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity?

Admit it: The traditional face of news has changed irrevocably. In the days when sources of news were limited, we worshiped Walter Cronkite. As sources of opinion expand to blogs, cable TV and Twitter, the center erodes. There is no national consensus anymore.

So Fox is only a nastier player in what has swept over the media generally. And the response from the Obama administration should not be what is morally right or what feels good. It should be what’s wise.

It’s my opinion however that someone has to take on FOX’s unfair and unbalanced attempt at reporting and why not the target of their aggressions?  I would love to see them shut down.  I stand for freedom of speech, but let’s face it, you can’t yell “fire” in a movie theater, and if you’re going to promote lies, hate, racism and bigotry, should you be allowed to fuel the illegitimate fires of the right wing flames?

Freedom of speech is one thing, but I personally believe that reporters, who reach the general public, should be held to a standard, and FOX’s line of right wing lunatics have gone so far to incite violence, which is a danger to national security.

So, there’s my view…now what’s yours?

Finally, People Start Firing Back at Right Wing Nuts

September 17, 2009 by James Hipps · 2 Comments

Finally, people are starting to fight back against the the right wing lunatic fringe.  For too long those who know better have remained far to quiet about this issue.  People need to put these people on the chopping block.  They need to be called out.  The truth need to be told.  Now, the younger generation is starting to speak out.  Perhaps this isn’t the most effective way to combat the terrorism of the right, but it’s much better than keeping quiet!

According to the press release:

Young Ruga Releases the Most Controversial Song of ‘09 Targeting Homophobic, Right-Wing Conservative Talk Radio Hosts

What do Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Don Imus
and Neal Boortz have in common? They are all right-wing, conservative talk radio hosts who repeatedly defame, slur, malign, slander and traduce the Democrat Party and Barack Obama.

Young Ruga may not be a familiar name to you but to thousands of boys and girls in the rural South he’s iconic. The twenty-year-old rapper has used his status in the streets as a platform to launch awareness. Even in this day and age where a black man has become president of the United States, he’s still under constant assault from Republican talk radio hosts throughout America.

Watch…and more importantly, listen to the recording below…but warning, you may not want to listen if you’re under 18 or if you’re a right wing nut!
