Actress and Comedian, Margaret Cho is returning to television on with her new sitcom/reality show, “The Cho Show.” The premier is set to air on VH1 August 21st. The show will document Cho’s everyday life, along with her diverse mix of friends and her parents.
“The Cho Show” will be the first time she has been in a television series since the 1994 sitcom, “All-American Girl.” Cho says she is looking forward to getting back on the small screen, but on her terms.
Cho said, “It’s the first time that I’ve actually been able to figure out how to make my standup into a sitcom format, which is totally unusual and totally different. It’s like a sitcom but with real people. It’s kind of a different take on what is reality, but what is comedy, so it’s comedy, but it’s also very real and different.”
Cho has been a huge favorite of the GLBT community, so we feel certain the show is going to be gay-friendly. Welcome back Margaret!
